Join us for a musical, creative two-weeks as we put together WINNIE THE POOH Kids. This FUN show features such well-known songs as “The Wonderful Thing About Tigers” and “The Backson”!

Day one will be spent learning songs from the show as well as handing out lines to practice! (No worries if reading isn’t your thing – not everyone will have to memorize lines!)

On the second day, we’ll listen to anyone who wants to try out for one of the lead roles such as Pooh, Piglet, etc. If anyone doesn’t want to sing by themselves – no problem! (Everyone is in the show – we just audition for lead roles) As soon as that’s done, we’ll start right into rehearsing.

Students with lead roles will need to spend time at home learning lines as well as working on it in class. 🙂

WINNIE THE POOH will be performed at the new Paragon Theatre in Coraopolis on Friday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m.! Students will rehearse at Paragon Studios in McCandless from July 7 – 16th, then move to the theatre for dress rehearsals on July 17 and 18. (Times will be adjusted for Friday, July 18 so students arrive later and stay at the theatre through the performance!)

Students MUST be available July 16, 17, and 18 register for camp!

Tickets for WINNIE THE POOH – $10.00. We do not require students to sell a certain amount of tickets. A show t-shirt is included in your tuition!

WINNIE THE POOH Kids! will be directed by Niki Slaven-Rettig and produced by Deborah Metzger.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
No refunds are given for missed classes. Students are encouraged to be consistent with attendance. A $5.00 fee will be charged during the two nine-week sessions to help cover heating costs. This is an effort to keep class prices lower. (This means each student pays $10.00 total per year.)  There is a production fee charged in the middle of the year for participation in our show. This generally runs $30 for levels 1&2 and $40 for levels 3 & 4.

Private voice students – Missed lessons – Students may make up ONE lesson per nine weeks. Please understand that any lesson missed beyond the one per nine week session will not be made up and a refund will not be issued. (Any lesson missed due to teacher cancellation will be made up at the student’s convenience.)
