Join Pittsburgh-based actor/director Tom Mirth on a four-week scene study exploration!
Delve into what drives your character and learn to make bold choices as an actor. Find the hidden things in scripts that are missed at first glance and take your acting to the next level. Students will work on one two-person scene chosen by the instructor.
Prerequisite: CCAC Acting class or equivalent or some stage experience. Actors do not need to have extensive training to take this class, just a basic knowledge of the craft.
Dates: Mondays from 7:00 – 9:00, November 13 – December 4, 2023

Come and explore the arts as we take students on a journey through the different aspects of performance – from the song and dance to makeup and voice overs! This one week camp is open to students with or without any prior experience. (SEE BELOW for detailed description by age group).

In this intensive and interactive event, Kevin will delve into the different categories of voiceover. You’ll work with actual scripts from commercials, animation and video games. Everyone’s work will be recorded and you will receive an audio file of your work to download.
Kevin will share all his greatest tips, tricks, techniques and tactics for VO performances that POP! Special emphasis will be put on auditioning for voiceover. You’ll learn how to make your reads stand out from the crowd and help you book the job!
In addition to teaching voiceover classes and privately coaching and directing voice acting students in Los Angeles over the past decade, Kevin has performed voices in projects for Disney, Warner Bros., ABCMouse.com, Epson, Netflix, History Channel and many more.
Class will be limited to TEN students so everyone can get plenty one on one instruction. Ages 18+. An opportunity like this doesn’t come often – be sure to take advantage!
Monday, July 8th at 6:30 P.M. Kevin will teach for 3-4 hours.
