Musical Theatre dance for ACTORS!
Saturday, June 20th and 27th from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. (Students attend BOTH weeks as one builds on the next!)
Are your lack of dance skills holding you back?
There are many roles in Musical Theatre that require just a bit of know-how on the dance floor. No one needs to be turning triple pirouettes, but wouldn’t you like to know what the director means when they call out “grapevine, chaine turn, jazz square!” or what about when the choreographer assumes everyone already knows how to do a shuffle ball change?! YIKES!
This FUN class will teach actors how to hold their own in a simple group number. You will learn terminology, how to count the music and how to put simple dance steps together. No judgement, no pressure! Just a fun class to open yourself up to MORE ROLES!!
Don’t be passed over for an acting role just because the guy next to you took a dance class in college! Come and join us. ALL skill or no-skill levels welcome! 🙂
